Regarded as one of the World's best Addison Sons
Who is the highest French bull with maximum reliability? Rexondi. Is that a relatively unfamiliar name to you? Maybe it is. When Rexondidebuted in June 2005, he was one of many Addison sons to appear globally. And he was not the highest one; in his home country of France, Patur, Raddison, Rouki and Remarque emerged earlier. Neverthless Rexondi was able to gloriously surpass this competition, both at home and abroad. With 161 ISU, supported by 6720 milking daughters and 2094 classified daughters, he is the highest on the French ranking with mamimum reliability.
Also Internationally, Rexondi is performing beautifully; of all the Addison sons, together with the Swede Ranneslov and the American Alton, he is one of the highest. Yes, his second crop daughters have brought Rexondi's true colors to light and in this way provide for the bull's real comeback. Unfortunately Rexondi is no longer alive but there is still sufficient semen inventory. And so he is back in the catalogue of his owners Amelis, from which he had been removed. In the meantime he has become quite popular with breeders, due to the combination of his daughters robustness and dairyness, says sire analyst Jean-Yves Dreau from Amelis. He also points to solid feet and legs; Rexondi scores +1.4 for this trait. One needs to keep in mind the udder volume of his daughters, but both the attachments and teat placement are very good. In combination with his outstanding production figures, this brings Rexondi to his unique position today.
Also at Amelis, they are abit surprised by Rexondi's remarkable class, of course. Dreau: 'At the the time we needed to make a choice as to which of the many Addison sons would be used as sires of sons. So Rouki, Satire, Adept and Rafael were primarily used. Thankfully we also gave Rexondi a few opportunities, so that we are still expecting 6 sons.' Dreau contracted the now exceptional brood cow Ondee himself. Besides Rexondi she has also provided the top bulls Rouki and Radical. Dreau: 'Then already Ondee was a special cow. Her dam was one of France's best Dannix daughters, originating from the Grenade family. And Ondee herself was one of the Wells Catalyst daughters.' The result is striking; Rexondi is regarded as one of the world's best Addison sons.
